Police update after crash shut major road
As the Glasgow Times reported earlier, Nitshill Road in the Southside was shut following an incident.
Now, Police Scotland confirmed that they were alerted around 6.35pm, after reports of a crash.
The force confirmed that emergency services remain on the scene.
Glasgow City Council’s Traffic Control and Management, however, said that the road is now fully open.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.25pm on Friday, July 21, 2023, we received a report of a crash in the Nitshill Road area of Glasgow.
“Emergency services are in attendance.”
