Bus operator set to run limited services amid strike action- but Bolton not affected

First Manchester has confirmed plans to operate some limited services on planned strike dates from next week, with bus passengers in Oldham due to be affected.

From Monday, July 24 the following routes will be running:

  • 409 every 15 mins
  • 82 every hour
  • 425 every 30 mins
  • 426 every 60 mins

A flat fare of £2 for adults and £1 for children will be charged.

There are also no services running today, Saturday, July 22, or tomorrow Sunday, July 23.

Further strikes are set to take place on July 24, 25, 28 and 31, and continue on August 2, 4, 7, 10 and 11.

The Vantage service from Bolton along the guided busway through Leigh and Atherton to Manchester and 184 service between Oldham-Huddersfield are not affected by industrial action.
